Tobin Machining is an ISO Certified 9001:2015 facility. We practice strict adherence to our quality processes and lean manufacturing techniques. We train our employees to continually test and verify the quality of their work, the equipment, and the processes.
We use a three-phase inspection system to ensure that the parts that we make are right as they are made and travel through our process.
- Setup person - checks the first piece to ensure that the job setup is tested for accuracy
- During production - operators are checking parts according to a quality plan with the frequency of inspection determined by the quality plan.
- In our metrology lab, we statistically check the number of parts that need to be tested & verified by an independent auditor. Determined by lot size, the AQL level determines the quantity that needs to be checked. Tobin prides itself on making precision parts and assemblies and achieving zero rejections by its customers.
