Tobin Machining Incorporated has been a family-owned business committed to producing high-quality precision machined parts since 1923. We've been a cornerstone of the Fond du Lac, Wisconsin business community and are proud of the relationships we have developed across North America and overseas.

Thomas H. Tobin Jr., is the third generation leader and has grown up in the machining business. Over the years Tom has served in virtually every capacity at Tobin Machining. As President, Tom has invested in the future. He steered the company to an atmosphere of continuous quality improvements, pushed to gain ISO Registered Quality certification, adopted lean manufacturing techniques and moved operations to its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. Tom is motivated to lead the company to continued growth and sustained profitability by delivering on the promise of the company's mission.

Tom earned his degree BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin Madison in 1976/8. After graduating, he worked for Ford Motor Company as a Research Engineer in cutting tool development, followed by a Sales position at NTK Cutting Tools (a subsidiary of NGK Spark Plugs) a leader in the development of Ceramic and Titanium cutting tools. In 1981 he came back to Tobin Machining as a manager/developer of CNC applications, moving to the company leader in 1987.

Tom is active in the local business service community, he served as a board member of the Fond du Lac Association of Commerce for over 7 years, including Chairman in 1993. Tom also served on the board of the Fond du Lac Foundation for 10 years.
